Dashing Goggles by fireflytwinkletoes Dashing Goggles by fireflytwinkletoes
A Rainbow Dash with goggles for :iconsteen182:. I'm at the point where I can actually have fun making RD, which is great for me :D I really like how the goggles turned out, although she looks like some kind of weird insect from the front with them on :P And before anyone asks, yes they're meant to be that big - her goggles in 'Hurricane Fluttershy' were huge!

If you are still making Rainbow Dash right now I would buy one on the spot and if

on the web. I'am very picke when it comes to Rainbow Dash and your the first, and if you are
still making Rainbow Dash take your time no russ.

I only take commissions - I don't make pre-made plushes to sell. If you're interested in commissioning me, there's information about how that works on my front page.

I am extremely interested in commissioning you for exactly another one of these. And possibly for a Twilight as well.

How would be the best way to discuss this commission with you? Deviant Art? Or would simply emails work better?

Lovely pony. You are amazing. I had a question though about pony making. Do you sew the ears on afterward or sew them in when youre sewing the head pieces together?

Thanks! I sew the ears on afterwards - that allows me to be more flexible about how they're shaped and positioned.

I figured since they have a lovely curve to them I just wanted to be sure. I may start doing that again. I usually sew them in the head but I always end up sewing too much. Thank you for sharing~!

I absolutely love your plushies! They are very show accurate without appearing stale and lifeless, they have so much character, and your pattern is very awesome! You're are definitely my favorite pony plushie maker!

Wow, thanks! I try to make every pony different than the ones I've done before, so that it looks less like the same pony with different colors and hair every time. Its one of the reasons that I never reuse mane, tail or eye patterns, instead starting from scratch each time.

Hello i'm seeing your price list and i'm kinda lost and got confused along the way, so how much would it be if i were to request a... Daring Do plush about the same size on the picture without the bandage and the clothes she wore on the show?

Go to my page, and there should be a button on the top right that says 'Send a note'. Click that, write your note, and it's like a PM instead of a message everyone can see :)

I'm starting to make pony plush :)
is it better to sew them by hand or machine?

It really depends on how big you're making them, how good you are at hand sewing, and how much time you want to spend on it. I know someone on DA who completely hand sews all her plushes, and they look great. She makes mini plushes (most of them are under 10cm) and it takes her days just to do one, because she really takes her time with hand sewing - she's great at it, and the result is excellent. If I tried to do that with my ponies, they'd look awful, because I just don't have the patience and skills to hand sew that much. I sew by machine - it's a lot faster, and it's easier to pick up quickly. You can get good results with both hand sewing and machine sewing, but if you're starting out, I would say machine is definitely easier.

do you make any with a less expensive materials for a lower price? or is the price based on something else? either way terrific job. there is a great demand for plushes that don't suck and with a little promotion you could corner the market.

I could make them out of fleece, but it would be just as much work for a worse result, since fleece doesn't hold shape as well. The price is based on how much work they actually take me to make. There is great demand, and frankly I'm getting as many or more commissions than I can deal with right now. I think it's a good thing that there are many people making plushes out there, each with a unique take on the same characters.
