 Most of the plush makers who take commissions on DA prefer to use minky - it's a lovely soft fabric that's great for making plush. It's fairly easy to order online or get at fabric stores.  has some links to some good places to check out if you're just getting interested in making plushes.As far as where to start, that's a pretty broad question! If you don't have experience with patterns, I'd recommend trying out some free patterns (or some bought ones, if you like) to get a feel for how things go together. It can also help to look at storebought plushes to see how they're put together. There are a lot of free patterns around, though, so that may be the best way to go. If you ave other specific questions, I'd be happy to help out - but really the best I can suggest is for you to give it a try, and keep trying! Cheers from Canada!
