My plushes are handmade to the highest standards I can manage. Keep in mind that these are one of a kind art pieces, not mass machine-produced plushes for kids. Although everything is made as sturdily as possible with double stitching and knotting on hand-stitched elements, there is a limit to their durability. With this in mind, the plushes I make are great for gentle hugging and cuddling, but will probably not stand up to prolonged stresses like being thrown around by kids or being slept with/on nightly. If there is an issue and some stitching on your plush comes undone, I would be happy to do repairs free of charge if you are willing to ship the plush back to me. All plushes are made in a pet- and smoke-free home with quality fabrics, polyester fiberfill, poly pellets for weighted elements, and appliqued details.
Once I start your plush, it usually takes me 1-4 weeks to complete. I will let you know if there are any delays beyond the usual.

The Slot System
- Whether commissions are open or not, please feel free to note me with questions about my plushes or pricing. That said, please read the available info first.
- Commission slots open up when I finish whatever set of plushes I'm currently working on. See the working list on my front page for reference.
- I generally take 5 slots at at time, one plush per slot unless there are special circumstances.
- I will not note individual people when slots will be open. If you are watching me you will see the journal announcing that my commissions are open
- Whether you have commissioned me before or not does NOT affect whether you get a slot or not.
The Commission Process
Generally, I will construct your plush to the best of my ability using the details we agreed on and quality materials I have available to me. Keep in mind that unless otherwise agreed upon, the plush will be made in my style of plushmaking (for ponies in particular). I assume that you are commissioning me because you enjoy the style of things I make - just like any other commissioned artist, there is some interpretation involved in making or drawing a character, and you are commissioning a plush of your character as interpreted by style and skills.If I accept your commission, the commission price includes:
For Ponies:
- An initial consultation where you provide me with any details or references needed to make the plush
- The final plush
- Not Included:
- Sketches - you are expected to provide references that will allow me to interpret the features of your character - if I am unsure about something, I'll ask, but otherwise I will interpret the design based on how I understand your character from the references
- WIPs - It takes time, effort, and slows down the process to take, send, and wait for feedback on photographs. If you require WIPs during the construction process there may be extra charges.
If I make a mistake on something that we agreed would be included in the commission price, I will make changes to fix that free of charge. If, however, there is something you're unhappy with when the plush is completed that you didn't specify or make clear was a necessary feature beforehand (for example, something that was not clear in the reference provided and was not raised as a concern), revisions will incur additional charges.
For Non-Pony Plushes:
- An initial consultation where you provide me with any details or references needed to make the plush
- A sketch of the plush which you will have an opportunity to review and critique before I start the patterning process
- Photographs of a prototype pattern that you can review and critique before I start the final plush
- One round of WIPs during the construction process of the final plush if requested
- The final plush
If I make a mistake on something that we agreed would be included in the commission price, I will make changes to fix that free of charge. If, however, there is something you're unhappy with when the plush is completed that you didn't specify or make clear was a necessary feature beforehand (for example, something that was not clear in the reference provided and was not raised as a concern), revisions will incur additional charges.

Plush Construction
Payment
- Payment is via PayPal - I will need your shipping info and PayPal e-mail upfront to send an invoice
- I require a non-refundable deposit of half the total cost of the plush before I start a plush - in the even that you cancel your commission, I will keep this deposit. The second half is payable upon completion of the plush. I will refund your deposit only in the event that I am unable to complete your plush. Payments may be broken into smaller instalments for plushes over $600. The plush will not be started until the first payment is made.
- I expect that by sending me a commission request, you have the funds to pay for the plush. If you do not have the funds for the plush when I am ready to start on it, I reserve the right to remove your commission from the list.
Info to send me if you want a quote
- CHARACTER: Send me reference pictures for the character you want a plush of. Multiple angles of the character is preferred.
- STYLE: If you have a reference showing the character in the style you want, send me that. If not, then specify what you're looking for - chibi and simplified, realistic, floppy and huggable or more doll-like and posable, blob with minimal features, etc.
- SIZE: The smallest I can make is ~5", depending on complexity. The largest I can easily ship is about 26" long (or a plush that is squishy enough to be folded or mooshed into a box that long). Total dimensions (height plus length plus width) are more important than height alone.
Shipping
- Shipping costs are not included in the base price and will be calculated on a case by case basis.
- I ship worldwide, but shipping cost will vary depending on location.
- Plushes are shipped via Swiss Post (LaPoste) unless otherwise requested.
- Tracking is not included unless specifically requested.
- I am not responsible for the plush once it has been shipped. That said, I have rarely had issues with plushes getting lost in the post.
Minky for sale
Hello all! It's been quite a while since I did anything on DeviantArt, and I honestly don't know if anyone still checks in here, or how active the Pony Plush community is. I hope it's still going strong. You're a wonderful bunch of people. I thought at some point I might go back to making plush, and honestly I'd prefer to keep my minky in case I still do (plus it's so snuggly and bright, it's nice just to have around!), but I'll be making a big cross-country move soon and can't justify hauling all my minky along on a 'maybe'. For this reason I'd like to sell off my minky stash, if there's anyone in the community that would be interested. I would be selling at a discount compared to new (of course), since I have used portions of most of the cuts of minky and some of them are odd-shaped - I'm thinking a starting price of $8 USD per metre (before shipping - I'm currently in Europe so shipping would be cheaper within Europe!), plus additional discounts if you get a whole bunch. Hi everyone!
TL;DR: I (probably) got a real grownup job so things will be changing.
So, big news. I've been living in Switzerland for a couple of years now and have unsuccessfully tried to find work in Science (I do have a Masters degree after all, it would be nice to use it even if I really do enjoy spending my time sewing). Then all of a sudden I was recently offered a job. I don't have the contract yet, so there's an outside chance that this will still fall through, but the employer seems very keen and I have attended several meetings about the project that I'm intended to work on. Slight Interruption in Service
Hi all!
I'm having a great time working on the current round of commissions - this is just a heads up for everyone that I will be away for a mini holiday for about a week starting today. You may have noticed that a number of projects are marked as 'complete' on my front page but have not been uploaded yet - these projects are indeed finished but I haven't yet found the time to photograph and upload them.
