Arwen

Arwen was a commission for infinitesle. What a lovely girl! She was a true pleasure to make, gave me the opportunity to use a number of new techniques, and I'm so happy with how she came out. She is made using my gangly filly pattern with Banana, Amethyst, Indigo, Topaz and Berry (non-Shannon) minky with applique details. Her eyes have a hand painted gradient, and she has beaded sparkles in her mane and tail. She has a complete internal armature to support her slender frame, so she is somewhat posable - her wings are wired for posability as well. The removable star clips on her tail are sculpted from fimo, and her necklace features a sculpted glow-in-the-dark will-o'-the-wisp in a tiny glass bottle on a silver chain.

I had so much fun working out different methods to make her glow-in-the-dark necklace! I want to make everything glow-in-the-dark now...
